Earwigs live outdoors but may enter homes when the weather is hot, dry, or rainy. They often get in through small cracks in the foundation, under doors, or around windows. Sometimes, they sneak inside with things like boxes, newspapers, or potted plants.
Even though they might look scary, earwigs don’t harm people or damage homes. They can be a nuisance if they show up in large numbers, but they’re easy to control with basic pest prevention steps or treatment.
